The store was opened at the end of 2005, 100 years after the birth of Pierluigi Noberasco, known as "Gin", as his family's way of honouring him and his entrepreneurial activity. The store is the first of its kind in Italy and perhaps in the world. It is located in Albenga, in an Art Nouveau building in Via dei Mille, a very central street where the company was founded in 1908.

The boutique offers more than 100 types of colourful dried fruits, nuts and rare delights coming from all over the world including:

soft, golden Medjoul dates stuffed with marzipan; figs from Cosenza; chocolates and nougats; giant raisins from Chile; papaya from Thailand; walnuts from Argentina; cashews from Brazil; candied hazelnuts and almonds from Italy, crushed nuts and nut flours; regional specialties such as handcrafted marzipan fruits; exotic dried fruits such as ginger, mango and kumquats; wildberries, forest fruits and even cranberries from Canada. For people who want to give a special present, Noberasco creates original gift packages of many different styles. Magnificent baskets, chests or leather boxes containing a variety of goodies, such as tisanes, handmade biscuits, dessert wines, jams and aphrodisiac chocolates.

They also create theme gift packages based on, for example, regional products, organic products, world coffees or even an old-fashioned English picnic. The boxes and baskets are elegantly decorated, covered with fine fabrics making them very pleasing to both the eye and the palate.
